Virginia Values Veterans
The V3 Program has helped hundreds of employers throughout the Commonwealth better understand the Veteran talent pool, and effectively trained them on current best practices for recruiting, hiring, training and retaining Veterans. Thousands of career-seeking Veterans have looked to V3 companies as they search for organizations that value their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
At McClung, we value and support the people who are serving, and who have served our country.
FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL®
FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL
McClung Companies has earned Forest Stewardship Council (FSC ®) Chain-of-Custody certification from the Rainforest Alliance.
FSC is an international non-profit organization which supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests. Its goal is to improve forest conservation and reduce deforestation.
The FSC certification indicates that the wood product is verified and tracked through its various stages and into its final state according to strict standards. Its membership is broad-based, from community groups to timber trade professionals.
McClung customers that specify FSC-certified paper for their printing can display the FSC logo on their printed piece. It’s that easy to help preserve our forests!

G7 is an improved device-independent method for matching color. It’s all about calibrating printing presses and proofing systems with the goal of repeatable, consistent color and images from proof to press. The G7 specification is managed by IDEAlliance®, and its biggest breakthrough is its emphasis on gray balance “target values” to monitor and control color. G7 specifies the components of an image that define a similar “visual appearance” to the human eye, so color will look similar even on different imaging systems.
G7 is the method one uses to obtain the goals and specifications required in GRACoL (General Requirements for Applications in Commercial offset Lithography). GRACoL is a comprehensive set of guidelines for planning and processing work for printers.
