Acrobat Job Options

If you wish to submit a job to us as a PDF, we encourage you to use PDF job options optimized for our presses. These job options have been developed to give maximum quality and compatibility with our equipment. PDFs are sufficient to process most jobs, however, in some cases we ask you for the source files.

To Install: Simply double click on each joboption file below, which will cause Acrobat Distiller to load, and that joboption will automatically be added. Reboot your page layout application.

Windows Users: Right Click; Mac Users: Control Click on the following links, then Save Link As...

If you find that your application can't see the new joboptions file, install the files manually:

On Mac OSX, copy to these folders on your hard drive:
Library/Application Support/Adobe PDF/Settings
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings
(~ means your user name)

On Windows XP, copy to these folder on your hard drive:
Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Acrobat\Settings
Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Adobe PDF\Settings
Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings
(Note that the "Application Data" folder is invisible, so you'll need to change your folder view options to make it visible temporarily)
